Point-of-Use Air Dryer

The ENHUI TECH Point-of-Use Air Dryer removes liquid water and contaminants from compressed air near the equipment inlet. Using centrifugal separation and an internal filtration chamber, it provides efficient moisture protection without electricity or conventional replaceable filter elements. It is suitable for CNC machines, automation equipment, pneumatic valves, cylinders, air tools, and other industrial applications.

Our point of use air dryer uses a spiral centrifugal separation structure.
Compressed air is guided into a high-speed rotating airflow, allowing liquid water and larger contaminants to be separated by centrifugal force.
The pre-treated air then passes through an internal filtration chamber for further separation before being supplied to downstream equipment.

How It Works

Step 1 — Spiral Acceleration

Compressed air enters through the inlet and passes through the spiral grooves, creating a high-speed rotating airflow.

Step 2 — Centrifugal Separation

Liquid water and heavier contaminants are thrown toward the inner wall and separated from the airflow.

Step 3 — Secondary Treatment

The air flows upward into the internal filtration chamber, where remaining moisture and fine contaminants are further separated.

Step 4 — Collection and Drainage

Separated water and contaminants flow into the collection chamber and are discharged through the drain connection.

Recommended Installation Setups


Without upstream air treatment, the point of use air dryer provides integrated filtration, drying, and the separation of oil and water from compressed air.

When a central air dryer is already in place, the point-of-use air dryer provides additional liquid water separation and filtration at the equipment inlet.


The Point-of-Use Air Dryer can be used as a standalone oil-water separator or filter unit, and can also be installed upstream of the dryer to improve drying performance.

For high-flow applications, a high-flow Point-of-Use Air Dryer can be used as primary treatment to remove large volumes of liquid water or contaminants, with a Point-of-Use Air Dryer installed before the point-of-use to ensure the delivered air is dry and clean.

Installation Guidelines

1. Vertical Installation Recommended
Install the unit vertically to ensure stable drainage performance and proper moisture separation.

2. Install Near the Equipment Side

For optimal performance, install the POU air dryer before the pneumatic equipment. Long pipelines may generate secondary condensation due to temperature differences inside the air system.

3. Maintain Sufficient Piping Distance

A piping distance of approximately 100 meters or more from the air compressor is recommended to improve cooling and condensate separation efficiency.

4. Confirm Airflow Direction

Please verify the inlet and outlet ports before installation to ensure correct airflow direction.

5. Additional Cooling for Systems Without Central Dryers

If no central air dryer is installed, additional cooling of the air line before the POU air dryer may help improve moisture removal performance.

If no specific pressure dew point is required and the only requirement is that no visible liquid water be present, a refrigerated air dryer may not be necessary. In this case, the distance from the air receiver to the installation point of the air dryer should be at least 50 meters, allowing the compressed air to cool naturally in the pipeline. If the available distance is insufficient, a coiled air hose may be used as an alternative.
