Drain Valves
Split-Type Electronic Timer Drain Valve
The ENHUI Electronic Timer Drain Valve removes condensate at adjustable intervals, helping prevent water buildup and reduce manual draining.
The ENHUI Electronic Timer Drain Valve automatically discharges accumulated condensate from compressed-air equipment at preset intervals. Its adjustable ON time and OFF interval allow the drainage cycle to be matched to operating conditions, helping prevent water accumulation while reducing unnecessary manual draining.
The unit combines an electronic timer, solenoid coil and durable brass valve body in a compact split-type assembly. It is suitable for air receivers, compressed-air filters, refrigerated dryers, moisture separators and pipeline low points.
Product Overview
Condensate forms naturally when compressed air cools. If it is not removed regularly, water and oil residue can accumulate in receivers, filters and piping, increasing the risk of corrosion, pressure loss and downstream equipment problems.
The ENHUI Electronic Timer Drain Valve provides scheduled condensate removal without requiring an operator to open a manual valve. Two front-mounted controls allow the discharge duration and interval to be adjusted independently. A manual test button enables quick functional checking during installation and routine inspection.
The brass valve body provides a robust pressure-containing structure, while the removable solenoid and timer assembly simplifies installation and service.
Key Features
Independently Adjustable Drain Cycle
The discharge duration and interval can be set separately to suit different condensate loads, ambient humidity levels and compressor operating schedules.
Automatic Scheduled Drainage
Once configured, the valve opens and closes automatically, reducing dependence on manual draining and helping prevent condensate accumulation.
Manual Test Function
The integrated test button allows operators to trigger a drainage cycle and verify valve operation without changing the timer settings.
Durable Brass Valve Body
The one-piece brass body offers good mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and reliable threaded connections for industrial compressed-air service.
Stable Solenoid Operation
The electromagnetic actuator provides repeatable valve opening and closing during each programmed cycle.
Compact Split-Type Construction
The timer, electrical connector, coil and valve body form a compact modular assembly that is convenient to install, inspect and replace.
Optional Upstream Strainer
A brass inlet strainer can be used to capture rust, pipe scale and larger contaminants before they enter the valve orifice, helping reduce blockage.
How the Electronic Timer Drain Works
- Condensate collects in the air receiver, filter, dryer or separator.
- The electronic controller counts down the preset OFF interval.
- At the end of the interval, the solenoid coil is energized.
- The valve opens for the selected ON duration.
- System pressure discharges the accumulated condensate through the outlet.
- The valve closes and the next timing cycle begins.
Unlike a level-controlled zero-loss drain, a timer drain operates according to time rather than the actual liquid level. Correct timer adjustment is therefore important: an excessively short interval or long opening time may waste compressed air, while an excessively long interval may allow condensate to accumulate.

Main Components
Electronic Timer Module
Controls the drain opening duration and interval. The front panel includes two adjustment dials and a manual test button.
Solenoid Coil
Converts the timer's electrical signal into valve actuation. Voltage and frequency must match the installed coil rating.
Brass Solenoid Valve Body
Contains the valve seat, flow passage and threaded inlet/outlet connections.
DIN-Style Electrical Connector
Provides a compact detachable electrical connection for installation and maintenance.
Brass Inlet Strainer
Helps prevent larger rust particles and pipe scale from blocking the valve orifice. Recommended for systems with contaminated condensate.
Typical Applications
- Air compressor packages
- Air receiver tanks
- Refrigerated air dryers
- Compressed-air filters
- Moisture and water separators
- Aftercoolers
- Pipeline drip legs and low points
